This book provides teachers with selections that will support fluency instruction as well as a beginning for the word study that is part of a balanced literacy program. Children enjoy the fun poems and the rhyming provides support for the struggling reader. Helping to develop comprehension is also part of this book. Children use words from the poems to complete sentences. Children use context clues to help complete the sentences.Teachers looking for pieces that provide fluency practice for students in a easy to use format will enjoy this book.It would have been helpful for this book to be in an 8 x 11 format to allow teachers to easily copy the pages.

Phonics Rhyming Bee is a fun app for learning to recognize rhyming words, and sort them by sound. A bee carries a heart with a word on it, and your child selects which of two flower pots has a word that rhymes. The bee then carries the heart to the flower, and if correct, a new petal is added to the flower. After each group of rhyming words is completed, the animated flower will review the words. There are 28 different rhyming groups with a total of 168 short vowel sound words in the app.

I tried taking a look at your blog in my ipod touch and the design doesnt seem to be correct. Might want to check it out on WAP as well as it seems most smartphone layouts are not really working with your web page.
